About S117 Interior Design

S117 Interior Design is a Geelong based studio (originally Brisbane) founded by Stephanie Pearce 2017.

After completing her Certificate III in Design and Decoration (2017) and Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration (2018), Stephanie worked on a range of high-end residential projects in Brisbane, both independently and alongside other industry professionals, before establishing her own practice.

Her expertise spans all areas of residential interior design, from bathroom and kitchen design, interior decoration and furniture procurement to colour and material selections, specification scheduling, custom joinery, and CAD documentation. This broad skill set allows her to bring both creativity and technical precision to every project.

Stephanie is inspired by European design and architectural principles, believing that less is more and that the best interiors are those which complement a home’s natural architecture. She designs with the intention that furniture and decoration work in harmony with architectural elements, allowing each space to feel cohesive and seamlessly balanced.

Her work goes beyond aesthetics. She creates thoughtful, considered interiors that challenge expectations and encourage clients to explore ideas they may never have imagined.

“The most rewarding part of my job is when clients trust me to proceed with a selection they may never have chosen themselves and then completely fall love with the result. It’s often their favourite part of the design! I love adding a hint of drama in my selections/designs, and the excitement when clients see it all come together is the best part of what I do.”

Now based in Geelong, S117 Interior Design works across Geelong, the Surf Coast, the Bellarine Peninsula, Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula, and everything in between along the coastline. Interstate projects are also offered via online consultation.
