S117 INTERIOR DESIGN is a Geelong-based residential interior design studio

Founded by Stephanie Pearce in 2017, S117 INTERIOR DESIGN is now based in Geelong.

After completing her Certificate III in Design and Decoration (2017) and Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration (2018), Stephanie collaborated on a range of high-end residential projects in Brisbane (both independently and alongside other industry professionals) before establishing her own practice.

Her experience spans all areas of residential interior design, including bathroom and kitchen design, furniture procurement, colour and material selections, specification scheduling, custom joinery, and CAD documentation. This breadth of expertise allows her to approach each project with both creative sensitivity and technical precision.

Inspired by European design and architectural principles, Stephanie believes that less is more, and that the strongest interiors are those that respect and complement a home’s natural architecture. Her work is guided by the intention that furniture, finishes, and decoration work in harmony with architectural elements, creating spaces that feel cohesive and balanced.

Her approach extends beyond aesthetics. Stephanie creates interiors that feel intentional and well resolved, while introducing ideas clients may not have initially leaned toward, but often come to love.

“The most rewarding part of my job is when clients trust me to proceed with a selection they may never have chosen themselves—and then completely fall in love with the result. It’s often their favourite part of the project! I love adding some drama and depth to create allure in the design. Seeing the client’s excitement when it all comes together is the best part of the process.”

Based in Geelong, S117 INTERIOR DESIGN works across the Surf Coast, Bellarine Peninsula, Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula, and along the surrounding coastline. Interstate projects are also available via online consultation.
